This outfit is reminiscent of a country club . . . or my high school. Remember when Lacoste polos were all the rage and everyone had to have the heart bracelet from Tiffany? I guess this outfit is an ode to the good 'ol days. Cheers to throwback Thursday!

You know the saying, "business in the front, party in the back"? I think it was originally used to describe a mullet. Thankfully, that isn't what's going on here. On night 2 in Vegas, I wore this seemingly "normal" number. However, when you see the back, it surely is a party . . . and most definitely Vegas-worthy ;) Happy Friday!

I honestly wish that I was debuting this jacket under different circumstances . . . and probably with a different outfit as well. However, I am feeling uber ill and it was cold outside. I'll admit that I put very little effort into styling this, yet the saving grace on this is that the jacket speaks loudly on its own so it doesn't require many additions from me :)

As the girlfriend of a veryyy avid baseball fan (whose 30th birthday happens to be today!), and someone who is actually becoming quite the fan herself, starting today many of my Friday nights will be spent at SafeCo watching the Mariners lose. Usually we go straight to the ball park from work, which means that I either find both a work appropriate and Ms-supportive outfit, or I have to bring a change of clothes to work for the game. Today I chose the former, especially since these new polka dot beauties are a throwback color for the Ms :)

In exactly two weeks I'll be on a plane to New York! I can't wait to be reunited with one of my favorite cities :) I'll be meeting one of my best gal pals over there to spend a long weekend eating, drinking, shopping, and site-seeing. I probably shouldn't be allowed to be a fashion blogger anymore by wearing this outfit. With the exception of the rain boots, I look like I jumped out of the decade I was born in. But seriously, I am out of outfit ideas that include rain boots! Like, seriously. PNW- can you just be spring already?! UGH. Luckily, N and I are headed to warmer weather this weekend. I'm surprising him with a mini-getaway for his 30th b-day. I'm so awesome sneaky :)
