Welp, I made it back from my quickie trip to Vegas. It was so much fun and I wish I could have stayed an extra day if only to eat delicious food with my family and soak in a little more sunshine. I came back $71 richer however as a result of truly mastering (knock on wood) the roulette table. On the evening I arrived, Ama and I stayed up until 3 a.m. gambling at the same roulette table- she had never played before and walked away with $100! It's always refreshing going to Vegas with family because you typically don't get half as a crazy as you normally do when you go with friends. Granted, I end up staying up just as late, but consume half the alcohol and get to eat food that doesn't consist of McDonald's and Starbucks.
Gonzaga won it's game on Saturday night and will be playing in the championship tonight so send good vibes! My family will be there but I had to come back last night because I have no vacation time left and I'm sure the Seattle rain just missed me. I'm throwing my body for a tizzy I tell you by all this traveling. Having gone from sun in the Bahamas to rain in Seattle, then back to sun in Vegas, only to be greeting by more rain, gloom, and wind today in Sea Town.
Anyway, more on Vegas later in the week. For now, I hope you have a very happy Monday!
