Soreness = Simplicity

Blouse: White House Black Market; Denim: 7 For All Mankind;
Flats: Me Too; Earrings: J. Crew; Bangles: Alexis Bittar, Juicy Couture

 Bag: LV; Trench: Gap; Pashmina: Purchased in Italy

When your body is so sore that you can barely move a muscle . . . this is the outfit that happens. Sorry for the semi-boring outfit post but I was all out of creativity this morning as a result of running on minimal hours of sleep from the day before and from my flight being delayed 2 hours last night (boo!) . . . which got me in bed around midnight.

But hey . . . guess what? I CONQUERED THE WORLD FAMOUS MUD RUN! I successfully completed the 10k while running the entire time :) I completed it in 1 hour and 6 minutes . . . which is pretty good I'm told considering I had not been working out or training. The first year my dad and sister ran it together, they ran it in 1 hour and 4 minutes. So I'm not too far off! There were lots of big hills, lots of mud, and lots of big Marines standing around yelling at you. Definitely doing it again next year . . . and training for it! Here are some snapshots via my phone from the day that began at 4:00 a.m. . . .

 Ready to Race!

 Dad and Monte . . . before and after the race :)
They both placed in their age divisions!

Bigley Family Pre and Post-Mud Snapshots
(behind us are all the muddy shoes that people threw away after the race . . .
my tank-top ended up in that pile!)

Hope y'all had most fantastical weekends!
XO
