Ciao bellas! I'm excited to share my very first sponsor with you, GlassesUSA.com! I have to be honest, prior to them contacting me, I had never heard of their company before. However, after browsing their website, I have to say that I am a definite fan!

Most of you probably don't know that I wear glasses (they are never really featured in my outfit posts), however I actually have pretty poor eyesight. I could share the sob story with you of how my parents figured out that I needed glasses back in 4th grade (it may or may not have had something to do with consistently striking out every. single. game. during my one and only stint in a softball league) . . . but I'll save that for a rainy day other than today. I have negative 4 to 4.5 eyesight. Legally blind is considered like a negative 6 sooooo you can kind of imagine what I'm incapable of seeing without my contacts or glasses. Ha!

I've possessed my fair share of eyeglasses over the years (including the ones that miraculously survived flying off my face while riding a train through the vast terrain of Wyoming and were later found, and mailed to me unharmed) and have to say that I'm quite thrilled about the current glasses trend. For example, two of the bloggers I follow (read: here and here) actually called out and sported the "geek chic" look recently.

It's easy to achieve the Geek Chic look given the plethora of cheap glasses available to the masses, such as the ones I'm sporting above from Urban Outfitters ($14 y'all!). Yes, I cheated with this post and wore my non-prescription glasses. It was the perfect opportunity to include them in an outfit post and I wasn't going to miss it! However, GlassesUSA has some fab options for us true prescription-glasses-wearers, such as this pair which I am currently craving.

Want to know what you might look like with your new frames? GlassesUSA has a new feature called Virtual Mirror where you can upload a photo of yourself and virtually try on your frames before you buy them! Pretty sweet if I do say so myself!
